Nakoosa Moreland
My name is Nakoosa Stará Moreland. My name translates to “Look to the Sky.” I am an enrolled member of the Confederated tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon. I am from the Umqua, Rogue River, Shasta, Kalapuya, and Clickatat tribes. I have a great love for photography because it captures history and a moment in time. I love wildlife, pow-wows, and people. I also find myself often taking pictures of plants, birds, and insects.
