Born 1979, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Born in Manitoba, I moved to Southern Ontario as a young child and have lived here ever since. Residing here with my husband and two young children, I am an avid hiker and nature lover who enjoys exploring new places and photographing wildlife. I rarely leave my home without my camera gear and my children, enjoying every second I can in nature. My passion for photography began around 2016 when I purchased my first DSLR camera. At that time, I enjoyed taking images of landscapes and the many waterfalls in the area. It wasn't until 2018 that I took an interest in wildlife photography. I purchased a telephoto lens and that was it. Wildlife photography became my passion. My main focus is on avian photography. Nature and wildlife have taught me to slow down, breathe deep, and enjoy the beauty it unveils all the while reconnecting to my native roots and the land.
